What issues were you dealing with? Be specific.
Spoken words curses as a child. ie: “there is something radically wrong with you”. I didn’t know at that point what radically meant but I knew it wasn’t good.. I lived with that for more than 50 years no more There is something Radically right with me and that is Jesus in me
How where they affecting you?
Always felt less good than others even after getting saved 29 years ago.

I was dealing with fear in being failure with Lord. Double minded not focused.
How where they affecting you?
In not moving forward to accomplish tasks Lord asked of me. Felt fear when moved ahead, chose to stay in comfort even though I was disobedient.

What issues were you dealing with? Be specific.
As a couple, we were having trouble with communication, trust and respect due to some situations that we had gone through. Individually, we were also struggling with personal issues to include generational curses, word curses, fear of what others thought, depression, and pride.
How where they affecting you?
Our marriage was on the rocks when we sought counsel from Dr. Ibbitson. We had even considered divorce. The personal issues that we were each dealing with had also affected our communication and relationship as a couple and were keeping us from becoming the disciples that the Lord had called us to be.

“My husband would rather look at porn than be intimate with me.”
“I’ve lost my husband to the fantasy images on his computer.”
“My husband has tried to stop looking at porn but it’s become an addiction he is now rationalizing.”
I frequently hear these types of statements from wives seeking counsel because they have lost their husband to a spirit of addiction to pornography. [Read more…]
