I had a lifelong tobacco addiction that was also a family addiction. Through interview, counseling and prayer I discovered underlying abandonment and rejection fears that had never been addressed or faced. As a couple, we were having trouble with communication, trust and respect due to some situations that we had gone through. Individually, we were also struggling with personal issues to include generational curses, word curses, fear of what others thought, depression, and pride.
How where they affecting you?
Our marriage was on the rocks when we sought counsel from Dr. Ibbitson. We had even considered divorce. The personal issues that we were each dealing with had also affected our communication and relationship as a couple and were keeping us from becoming the disciples that the Lord had called us to be.

What issues were you dealing with?
Overwhelming feelings of dejection that were developing into negative emotions and reactions that I felt I was not going to be able to handle. In the past, I had experienced such and would manage to lift off by way of prayer, worship, bible declarations or even speaking in tongues!
