No one wants to be a doormat, especially for demons!
Doormats get walked all over, they collect the dirt off everyone’s feet and go unnoticed.
Doormats are passive.
Passivity is defined as the acceptance of what happens without active response or resistance. In other words, what you allow will continue, and it will be done to you as it’s done to them via your allowance. (Num. 33:55-56)

How do you view yourself in God’s kingdom? Are you still a sinner saved by grace who has no power and still needs the Father or Jesus to step in and fight for you. The root of a stronghold may often be found in five words or less that we confess.
In a recent article (“Are Your Negative Expectations Limiting God?”), I touched on some of those word curses that were the seeds to a forest of torment that sound like this:
“You will never be anything.”
“You are not (pretty, smart, thin) enough.”
“I am too (fat, stupid, depressed, afraid, angry).”
“I can’t….(fill in the blank).”
Simple one liners, or word curses, become bait demons use to get you to agree with their lies. [Read more…]
