The declaration of 2 Corinthians 5:17, I believe, is one of the most misinterpreted in the bible: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” Counselees we meet with have oft been told that they should not be struggling with some of their issues (maybe perversions, depression, addictions and so on) because they the old has gone! Demonic Torment: Is Your Earthly Temple Crumbling?
We have recently seen many clients suffering financial loss and ruin due to the economy. People have confused their identity with what the world system assigns. They find their security and foundation in bank accounts and corporate ladders which are crumbling.

Grief – Your Time is Up!
Any emotion that has lingered too long can open a door to demonic oppression. The bible gives clear instruction on a period of time for grieving the loss of a loved one. An unending grieving process is an open invitation for a stronghold of heaviness. Spirits of loneliness, depression, and possibly suicide move in and set up camp. Labor Room Trauma Can Open Doors to Spiritual Oppression
When we minister to children, we often find it important to understand about traumatic events that happened during the mothers’ pregnancy and/or during the actual birth. This can be an important consideration to have the most effective children’s deliverance.
Recently I had a mother who was very concerned about her four year old son’s fearful behavior. Everything seemed to frighten him. When we asked about traumatic events in her life, she indicated that she spent most of her pregnancy, in her words, “scared to death.” [Read more…]
