Our ministry utilizes a straightforward and simple approach to deliverance that we believe is supported by Scripture and adheres to the mandate Jesus set forth in Mark 16; 15-18. Yet we find that some still do not believe the whole bible and that deliverance is for today.
I had a client like that recently (let’s call him John). He came in with his wife and admitted he benefited from what he had learned, but he was still hesitant. I asked him, “Do you believe in the whole Bible or just parts of it?” John quickly replied he believed it was all truth. Then I asked him about Jesus’ mission commandment in Mark 16. One of the tactics that opponents of deliverance ministry will use is to attack those who minister. They will say derisively that practitioners see demons everywhere and behind every problem in a person’s life.
