Do You Have An Ungodly Soul Tie With Your Tattoo Artist?

By Phyllis Tarbox

Tattoo Artist Soul TieHow well do you know your tattoo artist?

What types of artwork have he or she done in the past?

What feelings did you have when you walked away with your very first tattoo?

The intention of this blog is not to debate religious views about tattoos, but to cause you to think about a possible open door for demonic torment through an ungodly soul tie with your tattoo artist.

Here are some more questions I like to ask:

Do you know where your tattoo artist has been?  What is in his/her soul?  What are you bonding with by allowing him/her to shed your blood?   Whose art have you become a permanent billboard for?

Let me share a story that may help you understand my concern.

Years back I came to know of an international renowned tattoo artist that loved the Lord and was purposed to share his beliefs with those he tattooed.  His talent carried him all over the world, but his body of art included whatever the client wanted. He was frequently hired to ink satanic images of death.

This compromise allowed God’s gift of art to be used for demonic purposes.  It caused him so much conflict he was suicidal.  He talked the talk, but his walk was lost by the lure of money.

This Christian tattoo artist was full of demons of death, while he permanently inked his art on temples of the Holy Spirit.

My children are dying for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6).

The art of tattooing includes the shedding of blood and scripture tells us that the “life of the flesh (body and soul) is in the blood” [Leviticus 17:11].

Occult practitioners reference this type of blood loss as bloodletting. The term “blood-letting” comes from the word “let” in order to allow passing.

The blood is recognized as the “power source” of life.  The “letting” of this “power source” then opens doors through the “flesh” and allows the passage of a demonic transference.

So, let me ask you again, how intimately do you know your tattoo artist?  What else got emblazoned with that ink?

It’s Time to Break the Ungodly Soul-Tie with Your Tattoo Artist

  1. Confess and repent for any door that you may have opened to the demonic realm by the shedding of blood at the hands of a tattooing artist. “Father, I confess and repent for any open door that I willingly allowed when I was tattooed.
  2. Break the Ungodly Soul-tie. “Father, I break the ungodly soul tie between myself and (name) and (name) and myself in the name and blood of Jesus Christ.”

These are the necessary first steps to begin closing the door to the demonic realm accessed through your tattoo.  If you were uncomfortable with the atmosphere in the tattoo parlor or felt a heaviness that followed you, there is more work to be done.  Spirits of depression, fear, regret, and anxiety often follow tattoo art and deliverance from any transference of these tormentors should be your next step.

Your tattoo may be permanent, but the spirits associated with it are not.

Do you have anything on permanent makeup, for instance eyebrow enhancements uses a needle to scratch the surface of the skin to insert makeup.

The skin does bleed a little also it does fade away within a year or two.

Please let me know if this falls in the same category?

Patricia, this is a great question and one that I got asked almost immediately following the blog by a friend. I know the Bible cautions us about permanently marking the body, so based on that I would just break the soul tie with the person who applied the make up. The focus of concern in the blog is based on the body of art the tattoo artist is applying which generally includes demonic images. Permanent make up artist’s don’t do much more than make-up, so unless your make up artist does other forms of tattoo art, I would not be too concerned, but break the soul tie to be safe.

Yes. ANY tattoo where there is a mark that was never there prior, and is in the epidermis, or does not come off, is considered one. When you go to a person, who has ink and a needle, and you allow them to change your case, your body, it is considered one.
Leviticus 19:28 You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord.
The word has never changed from those times to these. I am not judging. realize GOD already did!
God does not change his laws. Or commandments. Only man makes changes. Not God.
I do not see how any Christian could become a tattoo artist. Atleast not one who has a clear understanding. We are in this world but NOT to be a PART of it. If this artist was witnessing to these people he should be running a tattoo removal shop. And discussing gods word. If it is about the money the LOVE Of money is the root of ALL kinds of evil. Hello. You guys are adults and are capable of reading. It is on you to be aware.
EVERY high ranked satanist has the tattoo on their visible body part, so you know who they are. What rank. Who they serve. If you see an ungodly person talking it, wearing it, eating it, living it. That is all you need to see and know, to stay away from it.
You can also have the pastor annoint oil and rub it on the tattoos and pray them off. Or atleast break the demonic association.
Mummys from Egyptian times were discovered with tattoos. Fallen angel roots are Mesopotamia, Assyria, Babylon and Egypt. We all know the nations mentioned biblically to be a wicked nation. BECAUSE THEY DO NOT LOVE GOD OR KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.

The point is to be who the creator made you to be, and look like how the creator wanted you to look like. Your body does not belong to you but to HIM. When you sin you sin against God and others. But with sexually imoorality you also sin against yoursselves.
There is hidden knowledge of spirituality of hair. Eating the way God intended. And not defiling the body goes for food and drink, to piercing and tattoos.
If you made a masterpiece as an artist…would you want the masterpiece to allow someone different to destroy it with doodles?
This is how God looks at us when we make changes to his creation.

Thanks for this article. I work as a pastoral counselor and have been looking and looking for some information about this. I heard a tattoo artist talking on a radio show exactly like the one you’re describing, his name was Matthew, but have not been able to find anything written by him. I know he once had a blog but it is gone. Would you possibly have any information as far as testimonies or scriptures that I can research? I work for a church’s counseling center here in our area and also counsel at my own church here in Pa. I would so appreciate any information about this subject. I really want something solid to share with clients that are interested. Thank you so much, Linda

Linda, I will send you the resource information that I have on the topic of tattoo’s to your private email. I do not know of the tattoo artist you are referring to, but there are many who just do not know the possible implications of their artwork. At a basic level, the permanent marking of the flesh is spoken of in Lev. 19:28. In 1 Cor. 6:16-20 Paul is speaking of defilement of the temple of the Holy Spirit through sexual sin, however He refers to the body as a temple that belongs to God and is not our own. The resource file will prayerfully give you more insight. I routinely break soul ties with anyone who could bring defilement into a persons life. I’ve seen clients who have had serious injuries to body parts after receiving tattoo’s on those area’s. In deliverance ministry, I try to cover all possible open doors and I truly believe this is one that is often overlooked. Thank you for your interest. Phyllis
