I felt impressed to develop a series of articles looking at the issues of ethnic generational curses and demonic torment common to different groups. There are many open doors for demonic oppression in a person’s life.
However, over the course of ministering deliverance to thousands of people, we have seen recurring themes based upon their heritage and this is what I want to address. The primary focus is on these curses as it relates to women.
I have been repeatedly asked by clients to share my findings about ethnic backgrounds from a deliverance perspective and have not felt a release to do so until now. I have an important disclaimer: I am not an expert on the full history of specific ethnic groups. These articles focus primarily on what I have observed and learned in deliverance ministry sessions. The specific causes and sources of these common themes may be open to debate and, as with all assessments of this type, are not universally applicable to each client.
Generational Curses and Your Family Heritage
It is my hope through these blog articles that, if they connect with your specific background and family history, you will engage with me so we can gain a broader and deeper understanding. We want to be more effective in deliverance ministry and specific knowledge can help with that. All believers are in a spiritual battle and the more we understand the tactics and schemes of the enemy the better we will do.
We must also recognize, as a church and as a society, that the demonic kingdom has manipulated us with prejudice issues that causes division and strife! As children of God, we all belong to the same family and in order for us to bring in the harvest that is now ripe we have to be able to stand together on the front line in unity. I hope you will see this series in that light because that is my heart and desire.
While the scope of the series has not been finalized, I will be looking at Latinas, African-American, English, Irish and Native Americans at the outset. I cherish your feedback and comments as this series unfolds; the first one will be about those of Hispanic descent.
