Children's Deliverance
Childrens deliverance? Is it right for your family? Do you see behaviors in your children that concern or frighten you? Have they been victimized by abuse ? Do you see patterns that are present in the family tree?
Do they doctors want to prescribe medications and you are uncomfortable with that option? Deep down, as a parent, you sense that the problems are spiritual and not medical in nature.
It sounds unfair but the demonic realm can torment and oppress children just like adults.
Above & Beyond Counseling Center utilizes a unique process tailored towards ministering deliverance to children. It uses some of the same principles and approach as for adults but with refinements particular to children who are not in a position to understand all the homework. The parent/caregiver of the child actively participate in this process and should have previously gone through the deliverance ministry process with us first.
We minister deliverance to children in the 3 to 12-year-old age group. After the age of 12, most children should be able to go through the same process as adults (with some age sensitive modifications). Because of the variations in behavior and learning capability of this span, we have segmented the process into two groups.
Deliverance Ministry: 3 to 8 Years
For the 3 to 8-year-old group, we use a three-step (session) process as follows:
- The first appointment comprises an interview/ familiarization session with some homework,
- The second meeting is the deliverance session, and
- The third session is a follow-up to help prepare the parents to keep the children walking on the narrow road to life (Matt 7:13-14).
Deliverance Ministry: 9 to 12 Years
For the 9 to 12-year-old group, we add a fourth session so the flow is as follows:
- The first appointment comprises an interview/ familiarization session with some homework,
- The second meeting involves another teaching session where the child also has some preparatory homework
- The third meeting is the deliverance time, and
- The fourth session is a follow-up to help prepare the parents to keep the children walking on the narrow road to life (Matt 7:13-14).
