Temperament Analysis
The Arno Profile System
The Arno Profile System (A.P.S.) Report is a personal identification/inventory--an eight page computerized report-- that is a clinical diagnostic tool to gain understanding of a client's inborn temperament and associated characteristics, strengths and weaknesses.
During the counseling process, our counselor gives the counselee a questionnaire called an A.P.S. Response Form which includes 54 questions; and takes the counselee about eight minutes to complete. The responses are used to generate a Clinical Report. This report can be generated for children and teens also.
The counselor receives more information from the Arno Profile System about the counselee, than he or she could possibly collect (learn) about the counselee in eight or ten counseling sessions. It opens the counselee up and helps the counselor target or identify the counselee's hidden problems. This information, coupled with the counselee history gathered, helps prepare for the next step in the ministry process.

Why We Use the APS?
The Arno Profile System is a spiritual method by which an individual’s soul is analyzed and measured scientifically, on a personal level for: understanding, development and godly change. It is a spiritual roadmap that navigates each passenger in the right direction, revealing personal weaknesses and strengths that can bring glory to God.
Client Benefits of APS
The A.P.S. identifies three separate human interactions and identifies each one in two different ways:
Inclusion (social orientation and intellectual energies)
-
Expressed: What we say we want
-
Wanted: What we really want
Control (ability to make decisions and desire to take on responsibilities)
-
Expressed: What we say we want
-
Wanted: What we really want
Affection (interaction in deep relationships)
-
Expressed: What we say we want
-
Wanted: What we really want
As you understand your temperament strengths and weaknesses, it will help you immensely in EVERY area of your life. It will affect how you interact with people, how to make better decisions, employment and hobby decisions and so much more! You will be able to use your strengths to bless others and cooperate with the Holy Spirit to transform your weaknesses.
How Accurate is the APS?
The Arno Profile System (A.P.S.) used in this temperament analysis has been developed and tested by Dr.'s Phyllis and Richard Arno since 1983 for the purpose of increasing the effectiveness of the therapeutic procedure in office and online counseling. Over the past eighteen years, multiple testing and research have produced an accuracy rate of approximately 93% in identifying an individuals correct temperament.
