With her encouragement, I share her deliverance to expose the demons of hopelessness, dread, and death that sought to kill, steal, and destroy her destiny.
Sasha felt trapped, trying to escape childhood demons that still had her hands and feet tied with apathy, hopelessness, and dread. She spent her youth being a mother to her mother with no father present. Her business was soaring, her marriage was failing, and apathy was shackling her hands and feet in fetters.
A spirit of dread would wait by her bed in the morning and entice her to speak, “I wish I could just pull the covers over my head and sleep today.” That invitation allowed a strongman of slumber to bring in overwhelming apathy, depression, and sleepiness to jail her to her bedroom.
A Spirit of Apathy Manifested
When I called out a spirit of apathy during her deliverance, it shocked us both. She jumped up from her bed, (this deliverance was online) and told me it felt like there were weights on her feet and chains on her hands.
She was shuffling nervously and crying, “I can’t move my feet or my hands!” She held her hands up to show me, they looked deformed.
This spirit of apathy was routed in a hopeless feeling of being trapped in an unhappy marriage. Months earlier, an argument with her husband ended up with him sitting on her for almost 2 hours. She was trapped and could not breathe.
The demons went wild when we cast them out. Spirits of apathy and death had her spiritually lynched like she was dangling from a noose.
Her feet had no traction; her hands could not free her.
These were generational spirits that hung her forefathers. It looked different in her life, but they were still in operation.
A Captive Set Free
The look on her face after her deliverance said it all. God had slipped the noose off her neck. Death and the grave were defeated. The enemy was no longer stealing her breath, and her feet were firmly planted on the enemy’s throat.
We’ve seen this same spirit of death mocking us through the media. It wants us to think we are under its feet, but the enemy is a liar, and his greatest fear is the glory of God found in the unity of the remnant. As Gods elect, we have the authority to put these devils where they belong.
Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them. For such men are slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of their own [appetites; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting. For the report of your obedience has reached to all; therefore I am rejoicing over you, but I want you to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. (Romans 16:17-20)
Your generational history has everything to with you, but it’s not about you!
Demons don’t even know your name. They target your kingdom purpose because they hate the spirit of God that dwells within you.
So, where does the enemy belong?
