The Most Overlooked Food Source for Demons

By Phyllis Tarbox

food demonWhat have you missed that is feeding spirits of anxiety, depression, misery, and anger?

Do you allow people to control, manipulate, and wreak havoc in your life?

Are there unresolved issues with people from your past?

When you cry out, “Lord, why have you not delivered me?” Is it because you have allowed an ungodly soul-tie to remain as a food source for demons?

Ungodly soul-ties are the open doors to the inhabitants in your land, God told you to drive out!

But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell.  Moreover, it shall be that I will do to you as I thought to do to them.'” (Numbers 33:55-56).

Severing the soul-tie is step one. Next, you must drive out the spirits associated with those soul-ties to experience freedom. One without the other is pointless.

But don’t be surprised by what may happen next!

Deliverance Encounter

One of my clients was authoring a book on pastoral abuse in the church was seeking deliverance. She wanted her testimony to bring healing to her readers. All the soul-ties and demons associated with abuse had to go.

Her deliverance was peaceful but profound. When we finished, she felt confident she could write the last chapter and from a place of victory.

The abuse took place three years prior, and this deliverance session was the finishing work on a long journey of healing. The client had had no contact with the pastors over those three years, but before she left my office, they tried to contact her on her cellphone!

I let her know that was not unusual. When we break a soul-tie and cast the demons out, an alarm triggers in the spirit realm.  It sounds like this: “Oh, no! My food source is gone!”

The soul-tie will try to reattach quickly because the demons are frantic over the lost connection.

I experienced a similar situation when I broke a soul-tie with an old boss who used to harass me. We had not spoken in years, but minutes after breaking that soul tie, he was calling me on the phone!

I also noticed my cellphone would continually pocket dial one of the soul-ties I broke. Here’s a hint, if the soul-ties you are canceling are people you do not want in your life, eliminate them from your contact list. Do not give the enemy avenues to re-establish a connection.

Prayer to Cancel a Soul-tie and Cast Out the Demons

Pray aloud, “Thank you, Jesus, for dying that I might be set free. I forgive and loose, in the freedom of my forgiveness, those with whom I have ungodly soul ties. I now break and sever, every ungodly soul tie with (names). I now use the authority I have in Jesus Christ to command all demon spirits to have no further right in me through these relationships in the name of Jesus.”

Remember, if you are still struggling, we are only one intake form away from your freedom!

Have You Invited a Spirit of Lust Into Your Life?

By Phyllis Tarbox

spirit lust

Have you ever said:

“Pornography is a friend I can escape with.”
“I like being seen as sexy; it gives me power.”
“Lust is my thrill, and I enjoy it.”

You have invited in a spirit of lust to squat in your soul!

Lust is the Master Manipulator

Lust creates a “rush” of adrenalin that can lure you out into illicit sexual acts or hide behind closed doors with pornography.

It drives you to do things you regret later but had no control over at the time.

Lust is anything but your friend. It’s an unquenchable spirit set on seducing you to kill, steal, and destroy your destiny. (John 10:10)

I’ve had many clients stuck in addictions to porn or lustful relationships they could not escape. Countless ministry sessions were fruitless until they broke the soul-ties with the people who first introduced lust to them and canceled the word curses that further cemented the entanglement.

Are you ready to drop this toxic relationship with a spirit of lust?

3 Simple Steps to Begin to Break the Grip of Lust in Your Life

  1. Confess and repent to God for partnering with a spirit of lust that has seduced you into compromise. Pray out loud, “Lord, I repent for embracing a spirit of lust as my friend. I ask for your forgiveness for allowing lust to distract me and become an idol that consumes my time. Today I choose to fix my focus on you and walk in your ways.”
  2. Cancel any word curses that you have spoken that have embraced lust as part of your life. Your words have the power of life and death, blessings, or curses. (Prov.18:21) Pray out loud; “I break every word curse I have spoken embracing a spirit of lust as my friend and as fun, and I cancel these assignments in the name and blood of Jesus Christ.”
  3. Break ungodly soul ties with anyone who first introduced you to lust through porn, molestation, sexual attention, actors, actresses, romance novel heroines, and any pornographic images that you have viewed.

Declare:

“Lord, I break the ungodly soul tie with (speak their names out loud). I call my soul back in the name of Jesus. Lust is not my friend. I cover myself with the blood of Jesus Christ and dispatch warrior angels to encamp around me with their shields locked. I do all this in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Deliverance may be the next essential step.

Labor Room Trauma – A Door for Demons

By Phyllis Tarbox

labor trauma demons

When we minister to children, understanding traumatic events that happened during the mothers’ pregnancy or during the actual birth is essential for effective deliverance.

A mother concerned about her four-year-old son’s fearful behavior came into the office looking for answers.  Everything seemed to frighten him. When I asked her about traumatic events in her life, she stated, “I spent most of my pregnancy scared to death.”

Soon after she became pregnant, her husband accepted a job requiring him to travel and spend many nights each week away from home. She felt abandoned, angry, and afraid. [Read more…]

Demon Spirits – The Real Root of Addiction

By Don Ibbitson

demon addictionThe terms “addict”, “my addiction” and “addictive personality” are tossed around liberally today. Are they accurate descriptions or do they misrepresent the root cause of a person’s struggles?

Is addiction primarily an emotional issue, medical, genetic, spiritual – or can it be a combination?

I’m going to share my perspective as a Christian Counselor/Deliverance Minister based upon experience in dealing with many who struggle with substance abuse.
