Improving Communications
Are you and your partner at a standstill in your interaction with each other? One wants to talk all the time and the other just clams up? Do interactions that start off peacefully end up in chaos? We can help you improve communications in your marriage once we properly understand your situation and whether or not there are deeper issues at work.
Get To The Root Cause of Fighting
Are you fighting almost constantly with your partner and often times over trivial issues? Fighting is an inevitable aspect of relationships. Fighting happens but often times it is for the wrong reasons and is very destructive. Improper fighting can also have damaging repercussions long after the fireworks have subsided. We can help you get to the root of the issues and show you how to deal with contentious issues in a healthy way.
Dealing With Baggage From Previous Relationships
Are the issues you are dealing with in your marriage or current relationship not new? Have you faced similar situations in the past with other partners? Maybe the issue is less about your partner and more about what has happened to you in the past.. or what you have done in the past? Fear? Depression?Anger? Pornography?Lust/Perversions? Addiction? Premarital Counseling
We tailor premarital counseling to the specific desires and also the needs of the couple. It would be simpler to have a specific program but our experience is that one size does not fit all when it comes to preparing people for marriage.
Aftermath of Adultery
One of you has cheated and the offended partner is understandably hurt and wounded. What do you do now? Do you leave? Are you both willing to work to restore and rebuild this marriage? What if only one partner is willing to rebuild the marriage? We have services to help you walk through this trial and let God’s word and healing power help you recover.
Addictive Behaviors in the Relationship
Do drugs, alcohol, prescription medications or some other substance have a stronghold you or your partner’s life? Maybe it’s the internet or gaming? Have you tried counseling, treatment programs, group meetings and “cold turkey” methods with little or no lasting success? There is a spirit behind addiction and we can help you.
Family Counseling
Do you have young children and you see behaviors and issues working in their lives that you know are not normal? Maybe their school wants to label them with disorder tags like “ADD” or “ADHD” and you do not want to go down that road. Do you see behaviors in them that have also been prevalent in you, or your family or the child’s father? Maybe your children are older and have left the house but they are still your children and you want to know how to help them properly.

Initial Consultation
The first session, whether in our office or online via the internet, is always an interview where you can share the issues the issues that have led you to seek help. It is an open-ended sessions where we try to gain understanding of the situation so we can formulate and propose the best ministry plan.
Typical questions addressed include, but are not limited to, the following:

- “What is your family history?”
- “Do you see issues in your life that seem to be generational”
- (For couples): “What are the major issues you are dealing with?”
- (For families): “What behaviors do you see in your children that are a concern?
- “Are there ‘issues’ in your life (depression, anger, fear, addictions, pornography, etc) that you’ve not gotten victory over?”
- Client’s understanding of spiritual warfare
- Personal or family history in the occult
- Synopsis of major relationships/marriages and why they ended
- Past and present use of psychotropic medications
- Past counseling experiences and / or healing processes
Financial Consideration
The counseling center is self-supporting and we are not subsidized by any churches or outside organizations. The normal cost for counseling services from licensed and degreed counselors typically runs $140 per 50-minute session or more. If you have are able, we would appreciate your financial support in that amount.
For those who have lower incomes, the following sliding scale price guide, based upon total gross household income, will assist you in determining a reasonable contribution to this Center for each fifty minute counseling session.
