Do you ever feel like you have lost pieces of your soul to each of your sexual partners and are somehow still bound to them?

Sexual sin creates big open doors to torment in the spirit realm.
We know God does not view any one sin as greater than the other. Sin is sin. However, sexual sin has much larger consequences.
In 1 Corinthians 6:16-19, Paul cautions that those who sleep with “harlots” are joined in one body and become one flesh. Here, Paul makes it clear that there is a joining of the physical bodies and the flesh during sexual sin.
But in Romans 7 & 8 Paul refers to a different kind of flesh, the mind realm of the soul. He said, and I paraphrase, “I keep fighting the flesh and doing things I do not want to do”.
The word “flesh “in both scriptures refers to body and soul together. Sexual sin, therefore, endangers the flesh of the body and ensnares the soul by creating an ungodly soul tie.
Sexual sin and the torment it brings because of the bonding, works like a sexually transmitted disease. Just as S.T.D’s can be transmitted back and forth, so can demons.
I have heard a client say, “I never suffered from depression until I slept with a girl who had Bipolar Disorder. It was like I ‘caught’ it.”
Another client wondered, “My husband had Parkinson’s disease and when he died I got it. It’s not communicable that way so how did that happen?”
That particular client had slept with her husband eleven years before marrying him. I explained to her that sexual sin had opened the door to the infirmity spirit years before but that spirit did not need her body to dwell in until its host (her husband) was gone.
If you ever get a chance to watch the History Channel’s show on the “Summer of Love“, it will open your eyes. The year was 1967 in Haight-Ashbury. The show is done from the perspective of the police officers covering the city that year. They described that summer as anything but the summer of love. There were more overdoses, rapes, and murders that summer than ever before. One of the officers said it was like someone opened Pandora’s Box and all hell came out.
Satan used love as a banner to “Make Love Not War” that summer. He legitimized sexual sin as love and it swept across the nation quickly to further degrade the morals of this country.
Sexual sin then became the super highway to mass produce demonic torment.
If you were promiscuous in your youth, I don’t want you to throw in the towel and give up. With God, there is always an escape route and that is accessed through repentance the blood of Jesus Christ.
A Simple Way to Break Sexual Soul Ties
- Begin by confessing and repenting of your sin to God. He forgives you!
- Actively break the soul ties by pronouncing out loud:
I break every ungodly soul tie between myself and (name) and (name) and myself. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ between us and cancel every demonic assignment established through that soul tie.
These simple steps will sever the soul ties that are chaining you to your past! However, booting the demons out that came in with those soul ties will take a little more work. Your next step should be to locate a counselor trained in deliverance ministry to work with the Lord to set you free.
