A Demon Yelled At Me: “Who do you think YOU Are?”

I had an opportunity recently to pray for a woman and this is the account of when a demons yelled at me! She was desperately seeking help. Deliverance is where you love seeing desperation. She had flown in from out of state and God certainly honors those hungry for more of him.

On her deliverance day I heard the Holy Spirit give me direction on how to minister to her. It was clearly to bind a spirit of trauma (under Fear) and any spirit that had come in through emotional, physical and mental abuse.

When I got to that point of the deliverance, this beautiful woman, so eloquently dressed and proper up to this point…straightened in her chair, her eyes narrowed, and with pure hatred she yelled out…”You bit-h!” After that it was easy to command each one out and they left mad, but quite quickly!

This really delighted me, because I could see the hand of God with such exact instruction casting these demons out of her into the dry uninhabited places. As we proceeded down the list to the “spirit of heaviness”, the Lord really ministered a sweet calmness to her, and they all began to leave easily.

But when we got to the Jealousy strongman…boy, were we in for some commotion! These spirits were all stirred up. So we threw more fuel on them by having our client speak out…”Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!”

I believe that this is the one scripture the demonic kingdom hates most! She spoke it out and then we went right in for Control and a Jezebel spirit. That’s when the spirits got more talkative. They reared this woman’s head back and yelled at me: “Who do you think YOU are?”

I do not believe conversation with demons is worthy of my time, but quoting something like…”I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me” seemed appropriate! Then I just went back to commanding that spirit to go..After all that’s what Jesus did, right? He silenced them and called them out of the person.

Well this spirit had some generational rooting from her mother, so we called out every generational spirit of Control, manipulation and any personality spirit associated with a Jezebel spirit of control… and she once again jerked back and that spirit firmly told me..”No! No! No! I have been here a long time and I like it here…and I love the name of Jezebel.”

I then asked the client to command it to go in Jesus’ mighty name. She did, and I just kept speaking his name gently over and over again…Finally it said “Alright already, I have had enough of this, I am going!” and it did. It was one of those amazing testimonies of Gods faithfulness to see this woman set free. I know it has nothing to do with me, but the authority in the name of Jesus had those spirits squirming. This woman flew back home set free indeed!
