Over this past year God has shown us the need to offer continued counseling to those who would benefit from understanding a simple process on how to renew their mind from lie based patterns of thinking. As we look across the body of Christ this seems to be a consistent theme that the Holy Spirit is speaking to many. As I focused on this area, many doors began to open.
One of the most interesting was a teleconference with Dr. Caroline Leaf (http://drleaf.com), who was a guest speaker at the Joyce Meyer Women’s Conference in St. Louis this year. Using many resources and some of her teachings as a foundation, we have developed a slide show, that scientifically shows you how a thought travels through your brain, and how each step of that process lines up with scripture. There is a clear time line on how long you have to take that thought captive, refocus your attitude, and command it to the obedience of Jesus Christ before it becomes a part of you.
Have you ever gone to bed angry and woke up angrier? While you sleep your brain is storing all your anger and filing it in your memory banks, hence, the scripture in Eph 4:26, cautioning you not to let the sun go down while you are still angry. In this teaching we give you the understanding of how the enemy uses your past to influence your future, how to discern an incoming lie, and how to kick it out. We also show you how your brain functions with your immune system and your endocrine system to either keep you balanced or divide your house so that it cannot stand (Mark 3:25).
Did you know that every memory or thought that resurfaces never goes back into your stored memory files the same? You have the ability to either send it back more toxic, by magnifying the negative or you can begin to change it for the good by focusing your thoughts on Gods truth over the situation. Understanding that your perception does not have to be your reality, we can now show you a simple process to begin changing old thinking patterns. We all have things in our past that need to be restored for the season ahead and this is one tool that will help you think about what you are thinking about and change it!
