Get Delivered From Generational Suicide Torment

Do you wonder what it would be like to go through a whole day without the tormenting thoughts of suicide? Do you dread waking up because those thoughts greet you the minute you awake?

Have you considered that perhaps those are not your thoughts, and that a tormenting spirit may have entered into your family through something that happened years in the past?

The Bible tells us in Exodus 20:5 that the sins of the fathers can visit the 3rd and 4th generation.  How far back can you trace your relatives suffering with suicidal thoughts?

Often we will notice a pattern in families with spirits of suicide operating in each generation.  With one of my clients, the torment began with a family curse that the Holy Spirit revealed to me the night before her deliverance session.

Case History: Generational Curse of Suicide

I had a vision of a young girl falling to her death on her grandparents’ property.  When I asked my client about this, she confirmed that a 5-year old girl had fallen from an unfenced portion of her grandparent’s property and died on the rocks below the cliff.  The town people blamed her family for this child’s death and several years later, her mother tried to kill herself by jumping off that same cliff. At 5 years old, my client, far from the land of this tragedy, began cutting herself with rocks on the playground.  Later in life this led to repeated self-injury, suicide attempts, and hospitalizations.

We were shown the root of where the spirit of suicide generationally entered this family and were able to cast it out in a deliverance session by the grace of God.  The Holy Spirit will often show us specifics to teach us and encourage us to persevere in this ministry.  Deliverance and ultimate victory are not reliant on knowing such specifics, however.

What you do need to know is that these thoughts are not your thoughts.  They are an agenda of the demonic kingdom to abort your destiny and keep you from the call of God on your life.

What you also need to be aware of is the demonic kingdom will overplay its hand early in the morning by bombarding your thought life.  As you awaken write down some of those first thoughts that come to you.

If those thoughts began with dread, sadness, gloominess, and depression, then you have just received the demonic kingdoms agenda for your day.

Here’s how to respond:

1. Begin to bind, out loud, the strongman of Heaviness and each spirit noted in the name and blood of Jesus Christ.  Matthew 12:29 advises us to bind the strongman then plunder his house.
2. Command that every knee will bow, and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord or go in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Begin to loose the fruits of the spirit of love, and peace over your day.  This will press you past the enemies attempt to have your day before it begins.
