Have you lost that loving feeling?
Do you feel abandoned, isolated, and distrustful?
Consider this: the demonic realm may have snared you in a trap of rejection that is stealing your identity and purpose as a woman.
The most significant gift God gives women is their ability to love and nurture. God wired women with an upgraded love package, and the demonic kingdom is continually trying to downgrade it.
In Revelation 12:13 when the dragon, Satan, was thrown down to earth he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the son. He knows our identity as women and hates it.
When you build walls of distrust because of rejection and abandonment, you are retreating into a corner under a false identity!
In the past, my husband would say he could not get through all my walls to love me, and I agreed with him. I remember thinking those walls took me years to build and I liked them. They were my self-defense mechanism from further hurt, but they hid the real me.
When you operate under a false identity, you struggle. Jacob did that. He assumed his Brother Esau’s identity to steal the family blessing. It was already his, but he took it prematurely, and that caused him years of delay until he came face to face with God in Genesis 32. After that night of struggling, God asked Jacob, “What is your name?” This time he honestly answered, “I am Jacob.” When he assumed his correct identity, God released His blessing and changed Jacob’s name to Israel.
You Need to Know Who You Are
God cannot bless a false identity!
It takes surrendering your past to be free. You get a new name, the one God appointed from the beginning of time. The word “name” in Hebrew means lifestyle.
For I will know you by your name for I have called you “Mine.” Is. 43:1
You are God’s address. You are his temple. When you said, “I do,” you were given a new name and the wedding ring of the Holy Spirit as your seal or guarantee for eternity (Heb. 7:22). The lights in your temple are on, but my guess is you are not a bride without wrinkle or spot.
When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you became a threat to the enemy. You got a power source and an adversary.
The demonic kingdom does not like your new address or your new name; they want to use the wounds of your past to build a false identity over your new one. They set their threshold near God’s and their doorpost beside God’s doorpost to hide the truth and trap you.
He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell among the sons of Israel forever. And the house of Israel will not again defile My holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their harlotry and by the corpses of their kings when they die, by setting their threshold by My threshold and their door post beside My door post, with only the wall between Me and them. And they have defiled My holy name by their abominations which they have committed. Ezek. 43:7-8
It is time to deconstruct the walls of rejection, isolation, abandonment, and distrust that are defiling your temple and concealing your identity and purpose for the Kingdom of God.
