Have you asked Jezebel to serve her favorite dish of revenge at your banquet table?
Do you sense a dark cloud of demonic harassment hovering over your days?
Do you feel victimized, slandered, and rejected by your friends and family?
You are on Jezebel’s radar screen, and the root of your torment came from your invitation!
I know what many are thinking: “Who would invite spirits of Jezebel to torment them!”
I can tell you from personal experience that your words of judgment get her undivided attention.
As you judge, you are judged with the same measure (Matt 7:2).
Have you ever called someone a Jezebel?
As Christians, this wording is typical in our description of others operating under the influence of manipulation, control, and seduction but we fail to recognize it as the root cause of our torment.
I once accused someone of being a Jezebel, and the torment was almost more than I could bear. The backlash was swift, and I was to blame. Spirits of fear, condemnation, judgment, and depression made me their target.
In our recent podcasts on Jezebel clearly, point out that this spirit does not inhabit people. Jezebel is a ruling principality in the second heaven that employs many demons to victimize its prey.
Jezebel seeks to use all of us. We are vulnerable when we use or permit ungodly control.
What you allow will continue and woe to us who allow that wicked spirit, Jezebel! (Rev. 2:20)
How to Close the Door to Jezebel
- Begin with repentance and forgiveness. God hears the prayers from the humble of heart.
Declare:
“Father, I confess that I have spoken word curses of judgment over (list all the names of those you have called a Jezebel) I repent for agreeing with the lies of the enemy that trapped me in this jail cell of bondage. Father, please forgive me for allowing this door to open in the spirit realm.” - Break the word curses.
”Father, I cancel every word curse of accusation that I have spoken over these people in the name and blood of Jesus Christ. I break all agreement with those word curses and declare that they will have no power over them nor revenge upon me from this day forth. I purpose in my heart to speak words of life not death, blessings and not curses”.
- Ask God for His perspective and forgiveness.
“Father, I need to see these people from your view. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit and cause my thoughts to line up with your thoughts, my desires to reflect your wishes, and my heart to love as your heart loves. I ask that you give me the “Eyes of Christ” to see life in people.”
