Are Reality Shows Feeding a Drama Spirit?

Have you noticed how the cable networks are airing more and more reality shows directed at teens that focus on drama, chaos, confusion and sexual immorality?

Could it be a demonic agenda to kill, steal, and destroy Gods best for our youth? Could shows like Teen Mom, Bad Girls Club  or Real World be teaching our children that getting drunk, fighting with each other, sleeping with each other, and destroying personal property is the new way to live?

Recently I was walking my lab puppy in our neighborhood park and I heard a loud argument between a couple sitting by the lake. The man was screaming obscenities and emotionally abusing the woman.

I began binding the strongman of jealousy and his companions, anger, rage, wrath and violence. Then I bound the lying and slumber strongmen, along with spirits of exaggeration, drama, chaos and confusion.

As I began to loose peace, love and patience, I noticed these were not adults, they were children. I slowed down as I got closer to them and just stood praying in the spirit. They quieted down. When I got to the other side of the lake, I watched them part ways. The boy, who looked fourteen or fifteen years of age, got on his skateboard and left the park. The girl was about the same age, 7-8 months pregnant and broken in spirit.

Learned Behavior Can Feed Demon Spirits

For these teens, this was normal behavior that was clearly learned as acceptable. I believe there is an acceleration to feed the familiar spirits that have been generationally passed down to this younger generation through these types of reality shows. It’s an open door to keep them out of Gods plans and bound in a demonic mindset.

These children don’t understand the unseen forces that are coming against them. So it’s our responsibility as parents and prayer warriors to stand against those forces on their behalf. As role models we need to refrain from watching the watered down adult versions of these shows and start rebuking the devourer whose intent is to steal the destiny seed in our youth.

We have the weapons to fight this spiritual war in order to release our children from captivity. Take authority and begin by binding the strongmen and any spirits you see operating in their lives. Then be sure to loose the fruits of the Holy Spirit. It’s time to change the atmosphere and bring our children home from the distant land of the enemy!
