Do you know that you have a full inheritance from God that is waiting for you NOW? Do you feel at times that you could almost reach out and grasp it, but you just can’t see it? That territory is your promised land, it was assigned to you the minute you accepted his son, Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior.
In Joshua chapter 13, the Promised Land was divided among the 12 tribes of Israel, BEFORE the land was conquered. God already knows what giants are living you your land and it’s time for them to fall!
I have watched a stream of clients walk into our offices long wearied by these spiritual battles. Although the victory was insight, they had lacked the discipline and energy to reach it.
The battles were with modern day idols of money, jobs, television shows, and computers, that kept them bound in their comfort zone. There was fear that the enemy was too strong for them to conquer. There was spiritual decay that was causing them to rot on the inside because they had compromised and cracked the door to the enemy by rationalizing and justifying their sin. There was isolation that kept them battling like lone soldiers in the war zone without a church family to help them.
Their promised land was still filled with the enemy troops, but none of their inheritance had been stolen. In each case, these clients came in slumped over with the weight of their past defeats. In each case, I watched them literally dance out of my office. One recently looked at me in unbelief and said, “I feel so light. I feel so free!”
Deliverance helped them to clear the land so they could walk into their inheritance that was waiting for them as a son and daughter of the king. We spend a great deal of time praying the full blessing of the Father over our clients before they leave our offices. The Hebrew sense of blessing means to speak words that empower someone to prosper and thrive. They are words that speak life and peace and restoration needed to claim your inheritance. Every blessing that the Father spoke to Jesus is ours. What we have longed to hear our entire lives has already been spoken.
Have you been convinced there is no inheritance left for you? Believing the lies of the enemy keeps you bound to a slum lord. Understanding your rightful inheritance moves you into the palace with the king. Where are you living?
