The inhabitants of the city of Jerusalem knew what do with their waste /dung. They took it out through the Dung Gate to be burned. Deliverance ministry can function like the dung gate for your soul; will you open that gate?
Many believers choose to hang on to their trash instead of carrying it out to the curb. They insist on keeping bitterness, resentment, and offences in the living room of their soul while their outside landscaping, what the world see’s, is maintained with great care.
In fact, many of us camp out on the trash pile by allowing the disappointments and hurts that abound in life to infect us with deadly poison. We spend time talking about it, meditating on it, and sharing it with as many as will listen. People like to hold on to it so that they have a convenient excuse for their lifestyle and their attitude. Sadly some do not want to be healed or healthy, they like being sick or weak. It allows them to blame their past for their current sin. But others just need to know where and how to dump the dung!
It’s interesting to note that Nehemiah, when he returned to rebuild Jerusalem, took a site tour and first went out the Valley Gate then travelled up to the Dung Gate to inspect the broken down walls and the burned gates (Neh. 2:13-14). When he tried to travel to the Fountain Gate (which led to fresh water), however, he could not get there because there was too much rubble.
The strategy for the demonic kingdom is the same. He infiltrates the gates of your soul with demonic torment, in order to keep the rubble of negative thoughts, feelings, and memories piling up. Big piles of dung can open the door for demonic spirits that are causing you to be spiritually constipated with waste products of frustration, rejection, depression, fear and more.
Deliverance is like the dung gate. It’s the gate that leads to the Fountain Gate, where the living water of inner healing flows! Once you have gone there you are able to return to the “city” to build healthy relationships based on love and grace! Unless, of course, you have you gone to the dung gate, dropped off your trash, and then gone back a few days later and picked it up and brought it home again!
Tolerating the dung of spiritual oppression is what allows weariness and sluggishness to slow you down to a lethargic crawl. It keeps you from fulfilling your God-given purpose in Life. You would not literally live with this type of toxic trash in your house, but it could be piling up in the form of demonic torment in your soul.
The dung gate is always open; have you used it in order to soar on wings of eagles? If not, are you wallowing with the swine? This ministry, and others like us, is stationed at the Gate of Deliverance, to help you. We encourage you to get help today!
