Pursue, Overtake and Recover All!

Did you come home from warring on God's frontline and find the thief had plundered your camp? Warriors hands are trained by God, but often times their eyes are so focused on the frontline, they leave the rest unprotected.

We see this reality played out in the bible. David was a warrior, and in 1 Samuel 30 we see him arriving home to find his entire camp missing. Everything had been stolen: his wives and children, along with his fellow warriors’ families. The enemy, who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, had carried them all away.

Immediately spirits of bitterness, blame, and anger entered into the warrior's souls, who had just stood alongside of David in the heat of the battle! Instead of searching for a solution, they wanted someone to blame.

As warriors we have been trained to stand against some pretty imposing enemies, but at home things are missing, and it's time we stopped blaming the church, the pastors, our spouses, our bosses, the economy. It's time to do what David did: ask God for direction, then pursue, overtake, and recover it all!

In Chuck Pierce's new book, "Worship As It Is In Heaven" he gives a word from God on recovery:

....Deep within your bones there is a burning. The burning is creating a sound that needs to be released into the earth and heavens. Now I need to hear your cry. When this cry comes up into the heavenly realm and penetrates my throne, divine recovery will begin. Shout loud and then celebrate recovery! Shout seven times. Seven times produces a completion and creates an entryway into your Promised Land. This Land has been waiting for you to recover the treasures that have been held captive by the enemy! Shout Now! Recovery! Recovery! Recovery! Recovery! Recovery! Recovery! Recovery! Shout now, for the lives and lands hang in the balance.

Shout these words over your family! Shout long and hard for your children. Shout these words over your bloodline! Shout these words over your neighborhood. Shout loudly over your city! Shout recovery even louder over your state. This shout must be extended into your next season of maturing. Shout over the supply lines that you need to see opened! Shout until your provision is released. Shout over your businesses! Shout! I long for you to recover what was Lost!

Recovery is coming! I will recover your lost integrity. I will recover you identity that has been submerged. I will recover your hardened heart and create within you a new heart. I will make your heart soft and your spirit new again. I will recover your spirit that has been wounded and break the power of your fragmentation that has scattered your faculties and made you think that you would never be whole again.

I will cause you to rejoice over your return! I will recover you from the shame of mistakes and unwise decisions. I will! I will! I will! So shout loud and long. You will dance and rejoice like you have been set free from and confined prison cell. So shout now for the door of your captivity is opening you will then establish my glory in the place of your freedom! ....

We are about to enter a new season, and it's time to come out from under the enemy's agenda of bitterness, guilt, anger and blame. It's time to PURSUE, OVERTAKE, AND RECOVER ALL!
